Valor Acres Mixed-Use Development Secures Key Financing for Expansion

Momentum is building at Brecksville’s Valor Acres with new financing secured for its sprawling, mixed-use expansion. In late June, Brown Gibbons Lang & Co. (BGL) helped arrange construction funding for the next chapter of Valor Acres, including 80,000 square feet of town center retail, entertainment, office spaces, and supportive infrastructure elements such as a 700-space parking garage and a new safety station.

This phase is described as a pivot from hospital site to vibrant, walkable urban district. Developers at DiGeronimo Companies and city officials say the funding accelerates progress on delivering a rounded business ecosystem—melding workplaces, dining, shopping, and residential options—to south suburban Cuyahoga County. The vision is to address growing demand from both regional employers and future residents in one coordinated plan.

With Valor Acres already attracting anchors like Sherwin-Williams’ technology center and DiGeronimo’s headquarters, the new amenities are expected to spark further investment and tenant interest. The enhanced infrastructure—especially improved parking and civic safety—addresses both the needs of businesses moving into the district and the comfort of residents, ensuring Valor Acres is an attractive, well-served destination for years to come.
